Garden State

Watched Garden State tonight

(Oh no,
please don’t tell me all of you have watched it, because it is what i am going to talk about.

Fxxk yes,
it is from Fox Search Light, again~)

I got to say I so love every movie made by them.
They are nothing fantasy nothing breath taking,
but got the funny scenes here and there, and they are professional story tellers. Pro!

Well, for this one, Garden State, is talking about finding yourself and enjoy being yourself, not matter how wired you are. I think I had understood this old saying for long, but it just little bit hard to make it happen on myself. I couldn’t let go the figure, that person I’d been dreaming about myself, just not yet.

But the movie indeed gave me some insights,
I particularly like the ending conversation between Zach Braff and his father.

This is my life, Dad.
This is it.

I spent 26 years waiting for something else to start.
So, no, no, I don’t think it’s too much to take on…
because it’s everything there is.

I see now it’s all there is.
You and I are going to be okay. You know that, right?

We may not be as happy as you always dreamed we would be, but…
for the first time, let’s just allow ourselves to be whatever it is we are.

And that’ll be better, okay?

I think that’ll be better.

Think maybe worth being brought up, Zach Braff is the director of the Garden State. It was his first time being director, and he won the new director award that year. Also, he actually picked up all the music himself for a Grammy awarded soundtrack for this movie.

Totally decent selections~

Finally, the photographic is also great with such a richness of classic warm and delightful moments.
(I should find myself a bike like that~ : )
