May 2009
Last week I sent my IBM ThinkPad T60 back to maintenance service, received it couple days ago and spent two night to install the system and software. Yesterday my house was broken in. The T60 was gone, with a few hundred U.S dollars, RMB and HK dollars.
I put so many efforts to fix the laptop and then now it is taken by the theft? God you play such a joke on me~ Fortunately the brand new 24L survive, and the M7 was borrowed to Ling. I sware I will kill the theft if he got these two… Only if I found him.
Together with the M7 + G2 I lost in India, the total stuff I’d lost and broke this 5 month value exactly what I saved from the last 5 months. So fuxked up…
Took two hours waiting for the police came after report, and wait another day for them to process the finger print scanning. They sprayed a grey powder every where in my study room in hoping to get finger prints but they only got mine, make me feel worse that the powder they used is quite hard to get rid off. The police are not really doing anything for good. Shame.
I changed my bank acc., credit card acc and thinking to buy property insurance for my valuable belonings. Yes, at least two thing I learnt:
1)you can’t stop people dump shits but you are able to avoid they dump on you.
2)I never lost a thing in China for 24 yrs, but lost in both oversea countries… …So China is a saver country!
Yey mate, let’s keep the chins up

  1. oh,shit!! are you serious, mate? You are really unluky these days.I have been forced to let in a thief by a gunpointing. But fortunately, I lost just a cell with cost just 1 euro. Then, I found that this might be done by my neighbor, coz this guy is fxking damn suspicious. However I couldn\’t accuse this guy with enough evidence. But I sweart to my-self, I would burn his house down when I move out from here. So, according to my experience, you must have met some unknown person around your house these days.

  4. to LeoLi: I dont mean to make prejudice on any one. But this guy is very suspicious. I can recognize the voice, the backpack dumped at the backyard where I found also the "gun"(a fake one) pointed at me, AND his behavior before and after the mishap on me was very strange.Hey, be a little smart, man. You know, when I just told to my colleagues about the haps on me. They all thought that it must be commis by someone who well knows my residence, such as neighbor.Yan, the thief, I mean the housebreaker, must get familiar about your house.

  5. Louis, i guess my house is broken in because it closes the railway station and on a quiet street. Every house along the street is fenced off and got dog inside, only my house doesn\’t have fence and got cats instead dogs.

  6. Yan, maybe you need to think about the security system, i mean the electronical one.

  12. Considering you are renting the residence, I suggest you lock up the valueable stuff when you are away.

  13. Leo, regardding the idea about setting up a alarm system, I remember there were mid-nights same kind of alarms from my ineighbours woke me up, and I just laid on my bed and thought:\’ Should someone turn that fuxkin alarm off?\’ and I assume that others heard those alarms feel the same way. But thanks for bringing up the lock up thing, I should have considered that.Nemo, you are damn right. Luckyly i brought your G1 with me that day my house was broken in, other wise… so you are fuxkin lucky too.Louis & Xiong Wei, my housmate lost two old cellphones, a carrying DVD player and a Game Cube. Saddly the house is not mine, neither my housemate\’s, so we can\’t really change gates, or raise a dog.
